2014 Silver Cup Award recipients were
announced recently by TACA to the One Arts Plaza's very own Lucilo Pena. The TACA Silver Cup Award is presented to
those who have made outstanding contributions to the arts in
Dallas.
Peña, president and architect at Billingsley Development Company, is well versed in the area of stewardship and mentoring in the Dallas arts community. He sits on numerous boards throughout the Arts District; he is a trustee for the Dallas Museum of Art (DMA), chair of the building committee for the DMA, serves on the program advisory committee for the Nasher Sculpture Center, member of the president's advisory council for the AT&T Performing Arts Center. He also serves as a founding
member of the development excellence committee for the North Texas Council of
Governments, a director of the Dallas Architectural Forum, and is a member of
Downtown 360 for the City of Dallas.
