iPhone Vid of Arts District
Michelle Carrig managed to grab some cool video with her new iPhone 3GS from the 46th floor of Chase Tower (DowntownDallas.org offices). You can see shots of the Winspear and Wyly.
Truth is I'm terrified of heights, and watching this video makes my palms sweat. I'm glad Michelle was up there and not me. This fall I'll be enjoying all the new venues in the Arts District from ground level.
Have to say though, I'm pretty impressed with the video power of the iPhone. May need to upgrade.

One Arts Featured in Army Spot
West Point graduate, and former Army Officer, Joseph DePinto (now CEO of 7-Eleven) is featured in a new advertising spot for the U.S. army. The ad shows a pretty cool transition between Army Officer and Executive Officer. The spot features images from Dallas as DePinto drives to the corporate headquarters of 7-Eleven inside Billingsley Company's One Arts Plaza.
