Free Tickets Contest

Ready to win some easy tickets? I have 5 pairs of tickets to give away to the Ken Burns lecture at the Brinker International Forum. The tickets go to the first 5 people to comment on this post about why they want to see this lecture. Just make sure your username or comment has an email where I can contact you on how to get your tickets.

The show is March 31st 2009, so this coming Tuesday.

Details:
Since his Academy Award-nominated Brooklyn Bridge in 1981, Ken Burns has directed and produced some of the most acclaimed historical documentaries ever made. The War, demonstrates that in extraordinary times, there are no ordinary lives. His series of epic documentaries began with the landmark television series The Civil War and continued with Baseball and Jazz, a film that explores the birth of jazz music. He will preview his most recent film on America’s National Parks March 31st at 8pm at the Meyerson Symphony Center as a part of the Brinker International Forum.

Legal mumbo jumbo: I have 5 pairs of tickets (going in pairs only). First come-first serve. No crying if you don't make the cut. Multiple posts don't get you multiple tickets. The lecture is in Dallas, so don't post if you live in Sri Lanka, m'kay. Thanks goes to Erin at the Dallas Center for the Performing Arts for providing the tickets.

I have seen a few of his documentaries and would love the change to see him speak in person!

I wish this was in the Winspear Opera House - Is the inside of that place as cool as the outside?
