Tonight, The Dallas Institute for Humanities and Culture will present its sixth annual symposium highlighting one of the most crucial but often neglected aspects of the American Civil Rights Movement: the law. In MLK, Jr.'s words, "A just law is a man-made code that squares with the moral law or the law of god. An unjust law is a code that is out of harmony with the moral law." The speakers tonight will include the high-profile senior analyst for CNN and staff writer for The New Yorker, Jeffrey Toobin, one of the country's most esteemeed experts on politics, media and the law.
