What are your Saturday plans? Join us at JM Gallery for a very special
artist reception for Kyle Hobratschk
and Shelley Scott. The show, which will
be on display from November 7 0 December 19, features pieces that challenge the
viewers’ perceptions of space. Kyle’s prints and oil paintings reflect
architectural design with their references to warehouses, cornerstones, barns
and ancient temples. Though these images are not actual buildings, they exude
visually powerful structures.
Sculpture Shelley Scott’s pieces integrate our perception of
two and three-dimensional space. Two-dimensional images seem to be solid structures,
while three-dimensional objects appear to be flat drawings. The contrast in her
pieces is truly captivating and intriguing.

You’ll be able to meet and greet the artists and gain insight into their
creative processes. The reception will take place at JM Gallery, located at One Arts Plaza, on Saturday from 5 – 8
