Urban Pedigree
When people think about urban living, they immediately think they’ll have to give up owning a pet. This isn’t the case at One Arts Plaza. In fact, we love animals so much we’ve decided to do a profile on some of the great dogs of OAP.
Many of the residents have told us how wonderful it is to be able to keep a dog in their home. It was important to them to not lose something so basic as owning a pet just because they decided to give up all of that landscaping in Highland Park.
And what do the pets think of urban living? Sure there aren’t any squirrels to chase, but when the concierge hands you a doggy treat and a pat on the head…,well city life ain’t so bad.
We’ll be featuring profiles of each dog in the weeks to come. We may even have an online contest so you can vote for your favorite pooch.

Hmmm…I wonder how much hate mail we’re going to get from cats…?

Great post! Looks like we had similar train of thought this week. It is refreshing to know that you can not only get to enjoy the conveniences of urban condo life, but our little doggies can too!
This is my first visit to your blog and I have really enjoyed reading your articles.

Thanks for the kind words, Erica! Personally I love animals (I have two cats and one dog). One of the things I look for when buying a home, or renting, is how it will affect my babies. Are there parks nearby, or can I get a puppy-sitter? I think lots of pet owners feel this way.
