Live Holiday Music In Our Lobby This Week Only
So TO-DAY is the first day of December. It's gettin chilly outside, sparkling lights are going up and holiday music is permeating our surroundings to get us in the right mood for the holiday season. And One Arts Plaza, along with WRR, is pitching in for the holiday spirit. One of the most beatuiful things to listen to is a live chorus and we are offering it several times this week for our lunchtime crowd. From 12:45 pm - 1:00 pm on Wednesday and Friday we will have a live chorus singing in our commercial lobby. Surprisingly, the acoustics are perfect for this use...it almost sounds like an urban cathedral. Check out the video to hear the performance from this past Monday afternoon. Join us in the sun-filled lobby with fresh bright red poinsettas and a very tall Santa, to get you in the holiday spirit.

PaperCity Photo Shoot - September Issue
Here's a sneak peak of a fun photoshoot we did a few weeks ago. We gathered several agents on the pool rooftop of One Arts Plaza for an ad we're working on in the upcoming September issue. It was a perfect summer evening with a soft warm breeze (luckily the sizzling heat had died down - whew) and the sun had just set over the horizon leaving behind soft hues of blues, greys and soft pinks. We had cocktails and bites and lots of fun getting everyone balanced in just the right spot. So keep an eye out for the the full page photo ad in a few weeks and let us know what you think!

Modern Luxury Features One Arts Plaza Condo
In this month's issue, one of our very own residents', Lucilo Pena and Lee Cobb's penthouse got a glamorous six-page feature. Very exciting stuff! Lucilo is President of Development for Billingsley Company and therefore was very involved in this project. So much so in fact that he and his partner Lee decided to relocate from their home in Uptown to the 24th floor with a 3,400-square foot two-bedroom penthouse. Designed in tandem with the building's architect, Lionel Morrison, the result is a classically modern, spacious home with window walls that take in magnificent city views. Click here to read the full article and see more pictures. If you'd like to check out any of our three downtown model condos at One Arts Plaza click here to schedule a personalized tour.

Floating Square
Check out this amazing photo taken by Guy Reynolds of Dallas. It actually won the Art & Seek's "Flickr Photo of the Week" contest last week. Taken a few years ago before the Winspear and Wyly were built, Reynolds says "The distinctive square of light on One Arts is like a signature piece on the skyline, and I wanted to present it in a way people don't oridinarily see it." He certainly accomplished his goal. While shooting, he was working on an article for the Dallas Morning News about the new "bling" popping up on our skyline. Lionel Morrison, the archiect for One Arts Plaza explains his reasons for choosing the square: "It's the basic geometric shape that we use in the design of the entire building. It's one of the those elements that really centers the building..in a very classic way and creates this iconic element..which made it a natural for an element to be illuminated at night. The square is a powerful, iconic shape."
